How do I submit a project?
Sign in to BigDevSoon and navigate to the Roast My Project page. Paste your project URL, and the AI will analyze it. Each roast costs 3 BigTokens.
How long does a roast take?
Most roasts complete in under a minute. After submitting, your project appears in the feed with a "Processing" status. Refresh the page to check if your roast is ready.
What does the AI actually analyze?
The AI takes a screenshot of your page and analyzes it visually alongside metadata (title, description, Open Graph data). It evaluates 8 categories: The Vibe, Design & UI, Copy & Messaging, Trust Factor, Idea & Value Prop, UX & Flow, Mobile & Performance, and The X-Factor.
How is the overall score calculated?
Each of the 8 categories is scored 0-20. The scores are summed and normalized to give an overall score out of 100. Categories that don't apply (e.g., pricing for a blog) are marked N/A and excluded from the total.
Can I improve my score and re-roast?
Absolutely. After reviewing the feedback, make improvements to your project and submit it again. Each roast is tracked separately, so you can see your progress over time.
Can I upvote and comment on roasts?
Yes! Sign in to BigDevSoon to upvote your favorite roasts and leave comments. All roasts are publicly visible, but interacting requires an account.
